Freya’s Pink Lemonade
This is one of Freya’s absolute favourites to help make in the warmer months.
About this Recipe
Once you have made your own, the shop-bought equivalent will never taste the same again. This is a treat for the younger ones after running around outside and for the grown-ups….mix with something a little stronger!
240ml granulated sugar
600ml fresh lemon juice, plus 4 lemons, thinly sliced, for garnish
300ml caster sugar
480ml cranberry juice
Step by Step Instructions
Bring granulated sugar and 240ml water to a boil in a medium pan over high heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate until chilled, (approx. 1 hour)
Add lemon juice, caster sugar, cranberry juice, and 1 .5 ltrs water to a serving container. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
To serve, add ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices.
